Current Labs VCU

The Current Labs VCU is the whole-vehicle controller for an EV conversion or a ground-up build. Built on the Bosch Share-VCU platform, it owns the things a vehicle cannot do without: torque arbitration, HV contactor sequencing, redundant accelerator-pedal sensing, and the vehicle state machine — engineered to an ISO 26262 ASIL C system-level target.

One firmware image serves every build. Which inverter sits where, which body modules are present, and every vehicle scalar — mass, wheel radius, gear ratios — are configuration authored at install time in the free VCU Configurator, then flashed to the unit over CAN. No per-vehicle firmware builds, and no recompiling to change a curve.
